Eric Brandriet was born and raised at the heart of South Dakotaās Glacial Lakes Region. Hunting and fishing have not only become an important part of his life but a passion at a very young age. Having traveled to fishing tournaments across the upper Midwest, he was exposed to many levels and angling experiences. Walleyes top the list of chased fish but South Dakota winter jumbo perch are a close second. Ā Live bait rigging and casting shorelines are my favorite open-water techniques. He is part-owner/operator of Dakota Prairie Angling LLC, along with his father, offering guided fishing trips on Lake Oahe during the summer months and year-round trips on the South Dakota Glacial Lakes and Big Stone Lake. Ā Ericās passion for the great outdoors has transitioned from fishing alone to sharing his knowledge with others through published articles, instructional video clips, guiding, and helping our youth develop a passion and knowledge to be an ethical sportsmen. Eric currently resides near Big Stone Lake with his wife Kristyanna, and two sons, Braxton and Graham. Eric Brandriet spends much of his time between Big Stone Lake and his residence at Whitlockās Bay on Lake Oahe; enjoying a multitude of year-round fishing opportunities.
